Support for Foreign-Owned Companies

Additional support for foreign-owned companies
A Romanian subsidiary owned by a foreign individual or company has the same core Romanian accounting obligations as a locally owned company, but the operating reality is often more complex. We therefore assess additional requirements such as:
- RO e-Factura compliance and local electronic invoicing processes;
- SAF-T / D406 reporting where applicable to the company;
- EU and cross-border VAT matters, including VAT-registration implications and intra-EU transactions;
- Intrastat reporting where the company's intra-EU goods flows meet the applicable reporting conditions;
- payments to non-resident shareholders or group companies, including coordination of relevant Romanian tax and documentation requirements;
- related-party / intercompany transactions and coordination with tax specialists where transfer-pricing support is required;
- management reporting for the foreign shareholder or parent company, where agreed as part of the accounting scope.
How the accounting fee is established
Accounting is quoted individually rather than using a generic package. The fee depends mainly on:
- business activity and VAT status;
- number and type of monthly transactions;
- number of employees and payroll requirements;
- domestic versus cross-border activity;
- reporting and compliance obligations;
- additional management reporting required by foreign shareholders or group companies.
From incorporation to ongoing compliance
Accounting can be coordinated from the moment the company is formed, so that VAT registration, statutory records, payroll setup and recurring reporting are addressed in the correct sequence rather than as separate administrative tasks.
