How much does company formation in Romania cost?
For a standard reviewed company-formation case, Startup Romania’s service starts at €750 + VAT. If you also need a Romanian registered office, the combined package is €999 + VAT for company formation plus 12 months of registered-office service.

What is included in the €750 company-formation price?
The standard package covers the coordinated incorporation process for an agreed standard scope, including the Trade Registry registration route and local English-language coordination. ONRC registration fees are included.
Before engagement, we review the proposed shareholder structure, administrators, planned activity and whether a remote route is required. This allows us to confirm whether the standard package applies or whether additional formalities are needed.
What is not included?
Some costs are outside the standard company-formation service because they depend on the client’s jurisdiction, structure or chosen operating setup. These may include:
- Share capital, which is separate.
- Translations, apostille/legalisation or notarisation where required.
- Other third-party or specialist costs required by a particular case.
- Ongoing services after incorporation, such as accounting and tax support, unless separately agreed.
Where additional costs are foreseeable, we confirm them before engagement rather than adding them later without explanation.
What can change the final setup cost?
Individual or corporate shareholder
A foreign corporate shareholder generally requires a different documentation route from an individual founder.
Country of the shareholder
Translation, certification, apostille or legalisation requirements can vary by jurisdiction and document type.
Power of Attorney route
Remote formation is available where applicable, but the signing and certification route must be confirmed for the specific case.
Additional services
Registered office, accounting, legal, immigration or market-entry support can be added according to the company’s needs.
Company formation versus the cost of operating the company
The incorporation fee is only the initial setup cost. Once the company is registered, the operating model may require accounting, payroll, tax compliance, a registered office, legal support or other local services. Accounting is quoted separately based on activity, transaction volume, employees and reporting requirements.
